Mental Health Support Coordinator

This role is ideal for individuals with a passion for supporting people through their bereavement. As a Bereavement Support Volunteer, you will be part of our Adult Bereavement Service team.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver face-to-face, online, or telephone support to adults experiencing grief and bereavement.
- Provide empathetic listening skills and guidance to help individuals cope with their loss.
- PARTICIPATE IN regular monthly supervision group meetings to ensure best practice.
- Complete the hospice organisational induction and relevant initial training for the role.
- An accredited counselling qualification or currently in the second year of a diploma or degree in counselling.
- Completed some working online counselling training.
- Enhanced DBS with adult and child barring check required.
We are looking for volunteers who can commit to this role and provide ongoing support to those in need. If you have experience in counselling or a related field, we encourage you to apply.
