Manual Machinery Specialist Job

Location: Ealing, West London

Annual Salary: £37,000

New Appointments Group is looking for a skilled Manual Machinist to work on a variety of manual machines, producing and repairing precision parts. This role involves operating lathes and mills, performing Centre Lathe Turning, and using metrology equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Produce precision parts with manual lathes and mills.
  2. Carry out mechanical operations such as Centre Lathe Turning.
  3. Use metrology equipment for quality control and assurance.
  4. Undertake thermal spraying and welding training (provided) in a workshop environment.

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess strong problem-solving skills, excellent mechanical aptitude, and a keen eye for detail. Self-motivation, effective communication skills, and familiarity with safety protocols are also essential.

Requirements and Benefits:
  • Apprenticeship or vocational training in machining or a related field.
  • Experience working with machine tools or mechanical assemblies.
  • Familiarity with workshop safety procedures.
