About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Post-Doc Research Associate to join our team in the area of biomechanics. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating numerical models of biomechanical structures and validating them through experimental work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement numerical models of biomechanical structures
  • Conduct experimental work to validate numerical models
  • Write and publish research papers
  • Contribute to research proposals
  • Liaise with medical partners

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have a PhD in mechanical engineering, biomedical engineering or biomechanics. You should be able to demonstrate the ability to write scientific journals and have knowledge of using the ABAQUS simulation software package within the area of biomedical engineering.

Requirements:

  • PhD in mechanical engineering, biomedical engineering or biomechanics
  • Ability to write scientific journals
  • Knowledge of ABAQUS simulation software package
  • Experience in undertaking experimental work in the field
