About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Property & Casualty Account Handler to join our team at Harrison Holgate. As a key member of our wholesale broking team, you will be responsible for managing client relationships and supporting the development of new business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Renewals Management: Focus on renewals, dealing with slips, and processing to ensure seamless client service.
  • Client Support: Collaborate with Account Executives to maintain strong client relationships and provide exceptional support.
  • Team Support: Assist the Account Manager in coordinating resources across the team to deliver outstanding support services.
  • New Business Development: Contribute to the growth of new business and existing portfolios.
  • Client Data Analysis: Analyze client data to present insights to insurers and inform business decisions.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to Group and FCA procedures, regulations, and requirements.
  • Documentation: Prepare and populate MRCs with accurate information, ensuring compliance with templates and MRC requirements.
  • Internal Processes: Complete Websure data fields and obtain Evidence of Cover documentation for signature and invoices.
  • Account Handling: Undertake Account Handling responsibilities and liaison with agents as required.
  • Negotiation: Negotiate and liaise with Underwriters to place risks as needed.
  • Client Service: Maintain a high level of client service and foster/maintain good relationships.
Requirements
  • Experience in wholesale broking.
  • Proficiency in using Acturis or Class.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent client service skills.
