As a Security Research Engineer at Apple, you will play a key role in making our products the industry's most secure. You will evaluate security-critical code, develop intelligent automated tools for vulnerability finding, and drive the design and development of new mitigations. Estimated salary: $200,000 - $300,000 per year.

About the Position

You will work closely with our partner engineering teams to deliver security mitigations and drive the response to critical issues. This position requires someone with strong technical strengths and a passion for security.

Responsibilities and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a background in kernel and low-level systems technologies, secure coding and code auditing expertise, and knowledge of modern anti-exploitation mitigations. They will also have programming skills in C, C++, and Python, and experience with software exploitation, macOS and iOS security architectures, memory-safe languages, and assembly languages.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate security-critical code.
  • Develop automated tools for vulnerability finding.
  • Build exploits for discovered vulnerabilities.
  • Provide security-focused consultations.
  • Drive the design and development of new mitigations.

Qualifications
