Opportunity:

A leading multidisciplinary firm is seeking a highly experienced Senior Environmental Specialist to support the development and growth of new projects across various sectors. As the new Specialist, you'll be providing support for infrastructure works spanning energy, transport, water, and building sectors in the UK. Responsibility:

As a Senior Environmental Specialist, your duties will consist of project delivery and mentoring team members. You will lead on bringing the umbrella of Environmental Evaluation together to effectively coordinate and deliver on designated projects. This involves supervising and combining a multidisciplinary team handling tasks including EIAs, Appraisals, and Management Strategies. You'll need to manage time effectively, carrying out your own work and reviewing the work of others to ensure high standards. You'll also manage client and stakeholder needs, acting as a point of contact and providing professional advice when required. Bid preparations and business development will be crucial aspects of the role, helping to secure new work for the team while developing new and existing relationships with clients.

Requirements:

To be a successful applicant, you'll need to be chartered with a relevant professional body, have around 5 years' experience, and possess a comprehensive knowledge of EIA processes. You'll need to have experience leading a team, producing technical reports, and demonstrating the ability to work effectively to deadlines while maintaining an acceptable standard of work.
