Electrical Bias Training Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Bias Training Specialist to join our MTC Training Team in Coventry. This role involves delivering high-quality electrical bias training to satisfy Awarding Body requirements and Apprenticeship Standard Duties/KSBs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver electrical bias training to apprentices, ensuring they meet Awarding Body requirements and Apprenticeship Standard Duties/KSBs.
  • Support the delivery of topics in which you have knowledge or experience to enhance learning for apprentices.
  • Develop softer skills embedded within apprenticeships by providing regular constructive feedback to learners and recording the impact of their learning.
  • Deliver subjects that align with the competencies of the individual, with a focus on electrical-based knowledge and practical subjects.
  • Support delivery at level 2, 3, and HNC; facilitating the development of independent learners and enabling apprentice progression towards successful completion of both the level 3 apprenticeship and HNC programmes.
  • Manage all physical learning resources and teaching spaces to ensure effective training and assessment of learners within guided learning hours.
Requirements
  • Industry-related qualifications such as L3 Apprenticeship, HNC, HND, or Degree.
  • Functional Skills Level 2 / GCSEs in Maths and English grade C or above.
Desirable Qualifications
  • CAVA or equivalent assessor qualifications.
  • Recognised Training/Teaching Qualification.
  • Internal Quality Assurance qualifications.
  • High level of engineering knowledge, preferably gained from several years of industrial experience.
  • Experience of best practice in the key competencies of the individual e.g., Electrical or Mechanical installation.
  • Evidence of knowledge in teaching methodologies.
