At MWN Hub, we are seeking a dedicated Helpline Support Specialist to join our team. As a Helpline Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-level support on the MWN Helpline, responding to telephone and electronic enquiries.

The estimated salary for this role is £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience. We are looking for individuals with a keen interest in the charity sector and BAMER and Muslim women's empowerment, accurate listening and note-taking skills, and experience of engaging with and dealing with problems faced by Muslim women and girls.

This role involves working on a part-time basis, approximately 20 hours per week. You will be required to attend training as directed and maintain all information in line with confidentiality and data protection (GDPR) policies at all times.

About the Role
  • Provide high-level support on the MWN Helpline, responding to telephone and electronic enquiries.
  • Responsible for helpline case management, including database inputting.
  • Keep up-to-date with developments and legislation around key issues such as forced marriage, violence against women, hate crime, Islamophobia, etc.
  • Maintain all information in line with confidentiality and data protection (GDPR) policies at all times.
  • Carrying out administrative duties and support to the Helpline Manager, Director, and Trustees.
  • Attend training as directed.
