About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Head of Data to lead our data journey and drive strategic initiatives based on data insights. As the Head of Data, you will be instrumental in setting up a function data function for a well-established organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a small but growing team through an exciting transformation, helping the organization to understand and leverage the data we process.
  • Deliver key insights and identify opportunities to inform future decisions and guide the business in harnessing data to its fullest extent.
  • Develop and implement data modeling and database design, data integration and ETL processes, analytics and reporting, as well as governance and compliance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive strategic initiatives based on data insights.
  • Communicate complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders and foster a culture that values data-driven decision-making throughout the organization.

Requirements:

  • Experience in data modeling and database design, data integration and ETL processes, analytics and reporting, as well as governance and compliance.
  • Proficient with SQL Server (including T-SQL and NoSQL databases) and cloud services such as AWS (Redshift, S3, Glue) or Azure data warehousing.
  • Skilled in data visualization tools like Power BI and proficient in programming languages such as Python or R for data analysis.
  • Passionate about guiding businesses in understanding their data assets and driving strategic initiatives based on data insights.
