We are seeking an experienced Project Manager - Construction to join our team at Bilfinger UK Limited. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for managing the development and delivery of EPC activities to meet key targets of time, cost, quality, and HSE.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure Safety, Health & Environmental Protection: Give the highest priority to safety, health, and environmental protection throughout all construction activities.
- Lead the Project HSE Team: Establish and lead the project HSE team to manage HSE activities throughout the construction and commissioning phases of the project.
- Act as Principal Contractor: Ensure construction hazards are managed throughout the project and implement appropriate quality systems for the control of construction information.
- Manage Key Construction Risks: Identify and manage all key construction risks to minimize their impact on the project.
- Lead the Construction Team: Manage and lead the construction team to successfully deliver the project requirements.
- Liaise with Customer Plant Personnel: Liaise with key customer plant personnel to ensure the construction plan is consistent with current standards and local requirements.
- Provide Construction Support: Provide appropriate construction support for commissioning and ensure that the project manager and other project management resources are informed of progress and any issues as appropriate.
- Define the Construction Estimate: Define the construction estimate and manage expenditure within the agreed budget.
- Ensure Quality Standards: Ensure that construction meets appropriate quality standards supported by agreed test requirements.
- Extensive EPC Contract Experience: Extensive experience of being involved in EPC contracts (civil and construction).
- Managing Budgets: Managing budgets and financial controls.
- Subcontractor Management: Subcontractor management.
- Relevant Qualifications: HND/C in a relevant discipline, accredited CSCS, SCO 91 certified, APMP accredited (desirable), and NEC4 Accredited Project Manager (desirable).
