  • Job Title: Senior Revit Architect
  • Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SRB Qualified Architect with expertise in data centre design to contribute to the success of our team.

This role will be part of the Central Design & Engineering team, reporting to the Head of Architecture. As a Senior Revit Architect, you will be responsible for designing, coordinating and supporting the construction of our data centres. Working closely with clients, stakeholders, and the project team, you will ensure that our data centres are designed and built to exceed expectations.

Responsibilities:

  1. Data Centre Design: Lead the architectural design of data centres, ensuring adherence to global design standards and guidelines.
  2. Collaboration & Communication: Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and project teams to understand new project requirements and restrictions, to translate them into innovative design solutions.
  3. Design Management: Manage the design process, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  4. Documentation: Prepare architectural drawings, specifications, and other project documentation.
  5. Project Coordination: Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and consultants to ensure seamless execution and adherence to project timelines and budgets.
  6. Site Inspections: Conduct site visits and inspections to verify construction compliance with design specifications and quality standards.
  7. Project Review: Review and assess project progress, making necessary adjustments to plans when required.
  8. Internal Collaboration: Collaborate in internal projects to review and improve global design standards and branding.
  9. Design Efficiency: Analyse project's metrics to ensure the efficiency of each design.

Qualifications & Experience:

  1. Architectural Qualifications: Qualified Architect, registered with RIBA.
  2. Experience: Minimum of 5 years' experience in data centre design and construction.
  3. Industry Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of industry standards, codes, and regulations governing data centre design and construction.
  4. Design Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, BIM360 and other relevant design software.
  5. Soft Skills: Excellent communication and project management skills.
  6. Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  7. Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  8. Flexibility: Flexibility to travel to project sites as required.
