Mechanic Trainer

We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team at Kibble's Skills Academy in Hillington. As a Mechanic Youth Trainer, you will play a vital role in supporting young people to gain experience and knowledge in Mechanics.

• Provide full servicing, repairs, and valeting for Kibble vehicles and external customers to MOT standard.
• Supervise and provide instruction in Mechanics to young people.
• Assist with insurance claims and vehicle estimates.
• Liaise with auto glass and external customers.
• Maintain and promote positive work ethics and standards amongst young people.
• Safeguard the health and safety of all young people and staff.

• Mechanic with minimum SVQ 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or other relevant qualifications.
• Experience in youth training is desirable.
• Ability to work to deadlines/time scales.
• Good diagnostic skills, with some electrical skills.
• Awareness and understanding of health and safety.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to engage, motivate, and inspire young people.
• Possess a full driving license and be willing and able to drive Kibble vehicles.
