Job Title: SEMH Support Assistant

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate SEMH Support Assistant to join our team at a Secondary SEN School in Fulham. The successful candidate will work closely with students in key stage 3 and 4 who require support with their social, emotional, and mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual and group support to students with SEMH needs
  • Work closely with counsellors, social workers, and occupational therapists to ensure a holistic approach to student support
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve student self-esteem and confidence
  • Communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents to ensure a collaborative approach to student support

Requirements:

  • Graduated with a minimum 2:1 from a Top 30 UK University
  • Experience working with vulnerable teenagers or children with SEMH needs
  • Positive and uplifting personality
  • Patient, caring, and compassionate
