Senior Sales Director for Commercial Vehicles

Our client, a forward-thinking energy company, is seeking a highly experienced Senior Sales Director to lead a dedicated team in the UK commercial vehicle sector. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in developing strategies to support the decarbonisation of fleet operations through low/zero-emission energy solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key commercial vehicle fleets in the UK.
- Use a consultative sales approach to understand the needs of these fleets and communicate insights to the business.
- Expand and lead the sales team, including hiring, setting objectives, managing KPIs, and motivating the team to achieve company goals.
- Work closely with the Business Development Director to create detailed delivery plans that align with the company's sales strategy.
- Manage partnerships with key stakeholders such as OEMs, leasing companies, and dealers to drive utilisation and sales at clean energy hubs.
Requirements:
- Relevant degree or equivalent experience, with at least seven years in business development, sales, or marketing.
- Experience in the commercial vehicle or energy sectors is advantageous.
- Demonstrated skills in leading teams, setting strategic objectives, and achieving sales targets.
- Experience with CRM systems for tracking customer interactions and sales processes.
