This is an exciting opportunity to join Churchill Living Ltd as an Apprentice Assistant Site Manager, supporting the Commercial and Construction team in the Southwest region. As a key member of the site team, you will gain a comprehensive understanding of the entire build programme from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities- Support the management team with tasks such as coordinating orders and deliveries of materials to site, maintaining drawing registers, and conducting daily inspections.
- Assist the site manager in ensuring standards of Health and Safety are maintained, that all work is kept on programme, and that all construction work is delivered to the specification and high quality expected.
- Funding through the Construction Support Technician apprenticeship to develop your knowledge of construction and provide the skills needed to set you up for success and progress your career.
- Site Supervisors Safety Training Scheme and support to gain your CSCS card.
- Good communication skills and the ability to develop strong and positive working relationships with both colleagues and external suppliers.
- Excellent time management and organisation skills.
- High standard of verbal and written English.
- Lateral thinking and problem-solving skills.
- An interest in construction and the built environment.
- A proactive approach.
- A basic understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- A willingness to learn and develop.
- GCSE or equivalent English (Grade C/4/5) Essential.
- GCSE or equivalent Maths (Grade C/4/5) Essential.
- GCSE or equivalent in a science-based subject would be an advantage.
- Starting Salary of £11,670.
