Support Worker

We are looking for a dedicated and empathetic Support Worker to join our team and provide vital support to a teenage girl with a brain injury. As a Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in enabling our client to live an independent and fulfilling life, while also providing a safe and supportive environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one support to the client, promoting independence and self-advocacy
- Develop and implement personalized plans to enhance the client's quality of life, addressing specific needs and goals
- Collaborate with other professionals, such as healthcare providers and educators, to ensure comprehensive support
- Facilitate community integration through outings, activities, and social events, fostering relationships and connections
Skills and Qualifications:
- Diploma or certification in support work, childcare, or a related field
- Experience working with individuals with neurological conditions or additional learning needs
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients, families, and colleagues
Salary and Benefits:
The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additional benefits include paid training, opportunities for professional development, and a supportive team environment.
