SHEQ Advisor

Bennett and Game Recruitment Ltd is seeking a highly skilled SHEQ Advisor to join their team. As a SHEQ Advisor, you will be responsible for upholding the highest Health, Safety, and Environmental standards across the project.

• Aiding project management teams in maintaining Health, Safety, and Environmental standards
• Executing meticulous inspections to ensure SHEQ compliance
• Ensuring safe maintenance and risk management of plant and materials
• Building strong bonds with the workforce to foster a culture of safety and consistency
• Supporting operations planning and delivery
• Managing contractors and ensuring adherence to HSEQ standards
• Conducting equipment inspections and delivering training programs
• Leading incident investigations and producing educational material

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Minimum of a NEBOSH Construction Certificate and a Valid CSCS card
• Experience and up-to-date knowledge of RC Frameworks and Ground Works
• Proficiency in Incident Investigation and Root Cause Analysis
• Outstanding IT skills with proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and email
• Work experience in Construction, Engineering, or Tunnelling
• IEMA Environmental Qualification
• Temporary Works Coordinator, Fire Risk Assessor, CoSHH Assessor, TEEPs, and TSTS would be advantageous
• Experience with lifting equipment, i.e., Cranes
• Knowledge of Behavioural Safety
• Security cleared or able to obtain this

The successful candidate will receive:

• Salary: up to 58k
• Car allowance
• 23 days' holiday plus 8 days Bank Holidays
