Job Summary

MacGregor Black is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our team in a leading FMCG business. As a Multi-Skilled Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production lines and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform planned maintenance, troubleshoot breakdowns, and execute line change-overs to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the Engineering department's strategic plan, aligning with the company's overall vision.
  • Monitor and maintain production Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) to meet site Key Performance Indicator (KPI) targets.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements within the engineering environment, driving efficiency and cost savings.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, statutory regulations, and factory-wide systems for health, safety, and environmental compliance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support capital engineering projects, ensuring timely and effective execution.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with peers and stakeholders, building credibility and trust.

Requirements

  • Minimum of ONC in Engineering or equivalent experience, with a strong background in electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Proven experience in a FMCG environment, preferably in food or packaging.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
