Job Summary

As a highly skilled ICT Server Infrastructure Specialist, you will be responsible for resolving complex infrastructure issues and providing exceptional support to our customers. With a strong background in server and network engineering, you will be able to diagnose and troubleshoot issues related to customer infrastructure, including networking, firewall configuration, and storage solutions. Additionally, you will provide end-user desktop support, including dealing with third parties for application support, VPN connectivity, and general end-user troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Resolve complex infrastructure issues and provide exceptional support to customers
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues related to customer infrastructure, including networking, firewall configuration, and storage solutions
  • Provide end-user desktop support, including dealing with third parties for application support, VPN connectivity, and general end-user troubleshooting
  • Liaise with partners and third parties to aid in the resolution of incidents
  • Act as an escalation point for Service Desk Agents, Apprentices, and more junior 2nd line engineers
  • Maintain a high-quality service to our customers
  • Assist with the mentoring and coaching of Service Desk Agents, Apprentices, and more junior 2nd line engineers

Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years' server and 5 years desktop experience
  • Excellent knowledge of a server and networked environment
  • Strong desktop support experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Exchange and Office 365
  • Proven experience of 2nd line Azure tenant support, including EntraID changes, conditional access changes, AVD desktop policy changes, publishing new apps in Autopilot, etc.
  • Ability to tailor style of coaching and training based on individual's needs
  • Excellent telephone manner
