About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Radiographer to join our team at South Warwickshire University NHS Foundation Trust. As a Specialist Radiographer in CT and MRI, you will be responsible for providing high-quality imaging services to patients, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure excellent patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Rotate through the department, undertaking unsupervised procedures in CT and MRI, as well as other areas such as General Radiography, Accident & Emergency, and Fluoroscopy.
  • Perform all clinical examinations to the highest standards, adhering to departmental policies and procedures.
  • Assist and advise radiographers, assistant practitioners, and radiographic aides as needed.
  • Participate in weekend and weekday shifts, as well as extended hours programs, and be willing to work nights.
  • Maintain clean, tidy, and equipped rooms/areas, and be familiar with all departmental clinical protocols and procedures.

Requirements

  • Degree in Radiography or equivalent qualification.
  • State registration and evidence of Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
  • Minimum 2 years post-registration experience, preferably in CT and/or MRI.
  • Ability to work in a busy A&E environment, managing daily workload and prioritizing tasks.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and patients.
