Salary

The estimated salary for this position is £80,000 - £100,000 per annum, depending on experience.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Enterprise Architect to join our team and collaborate at the highest levels of our organization. In this role, you will leverage your extensive expertise in both business and technology to work closely with the Divisional Managing Director and their direct reports, influencing and guiding their strategic initiatives and technology.

Your technical acumen and strategic thinking will be crucial in identifying opportunities to exploit technology for competitive advantage and developing comprehensive roadmaps to achieve our goals. With a deep understanding of the education sector, both in the UK and internationally, you will play a key role in transforming our technology to meet the evolving needs of the market.

You will build strong relationships with the Divisional Managing Director and their direct reports, acting as a trusted advisor and influencer. Your ability to align technology solutions with business strategies will be essential in developing a multi-year roadmap of IT change and investment.

You will collaborate with senior management and technical specialists to ensure that our technology investments are optimized for efficiency and innovation. Additionally, your in-depth knowledge of pedagogy and assessment will enable you to design and implement robust systems tailored to the unique needs of the education sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and communicate a clear vision and roadmap for IT change and investment.
  • Leverage industry technology solutions, enterprise architecture frameworks, IT infrastructure, and emerging technologies to drive business growth.
  • Collaborate with senior management and technical specialists to optimize technology investments.
  • Design and implement robust systems tailored to the unique needs of the education sector.
Requirements

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • A deep understanding of the education sector, including UK key stages and international K-12 systems.
  • Familiarity with assessment and qualification processes.
  • Technical acumen and strategic thinking to identify opportunities to exploit technology for competitive advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Able to build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders.
