About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil Engineer to join our team in delivering water and waste water solutions. As a key member of our multi-disciplinary project team, you will provide technical expertise and design capabilities to develop and deliver innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Production of civil designs, calculations, and specifications for water, wastewater, or pipeline projects, collaborating with CAD technicians to produce 3D models or 2D drawings.
  • Working within design teams to produce designs that meet time, budget, and quality standards, liaising with stakeholders, including operations, contractors, and suppliers.
  • Driving excellence in Health and Safety in design by eliminating hazards and reducing risks, complying with Alliance CDM procedures.
  • Progressing projects from feasibility to construction, undertaking site visits to assess asset conditions, and providing survey data for design solutions.
  • Supporting the development of Standard Products for repeatable design solutions and identifying opportunities to meet project objectives.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have a minimum of HNC/HND in Civil Engineering or equivalent experience. You will be comfortable using MS Office and relevant engineering design software, with a strong understanding of British Standards and Eurocodes. Excellent communication and reporting skills are essential, as well as the ability to interpret ground investigation reports.
