Electrical Hardware Engineer - Space / Satellite / Imaging

Langham Recruitment is seeking an experienced Electrical Hardware Engineer to join our client's team in Chelmsford. As a world leader in the scientific and satellite / space industries, our client is looking for a talented individual to design and develop electrical hardware for their high-speed imaging sensors.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design and develop PCBs for space applications, including selecting components, capturing schematics, conducting analyses, and documenting processes.
  2. Develop and present design concepts to meet internal and external specifications, while maintaining compliance verification matrices for electrical requirements.
  3. Prepare and present electrical design documentation for internal and external gate reviews, ensuring clear communication with stakeholders.
  4. Lead verification and testing of electronics, producing clear, structured documentation.
  5. Mentor team members and adhere to high-reliability electronics standards.
  6. Develop electronic designs that bring innovation and enhance both new and existing testing systems.
  7. Essential skills in PCB CAD, with preference given to familiarity with CADENCE or ALTIUM.
  8. Comprehensive knowledge of electronics and electrical interfaces.
  9. Skill in presenting technical information and intricate electrical designs in a clear and understandable manner.
