About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Occupational Therapist to join our interdisciplinary team at Brainkind Neurological Care Centre Lancashire (NCCL). As a Senior Occupational Therapist, you will play a key role in providing holistic assessments and treatment of complex neurological patients, setting and reviewing SMART goals, and supporting clients, families, and staff to work towards these goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to develop individualised rehabilitation and treatment plans.
  • Apply evidence-based practice and specialised skills to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate interventions.
  • Maintain detailed records in accordance with professional standards.
  • Collaborate effectively with team leaders, therapy and nursing teams, and the wider MDT.
  • Have a high level of communication skills to manage difficult conversations and identify/demonstrate conflict resolution skills.
  • Conduct access and home visits across Lancashire and South Cumbria to facilitate assessments and graded discharges.
