Role Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Credit Investment Specialist to join our client's global fixed income business. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for evaluating new investment opportunities, performing fundamental research analysis, and conducting credit analysis.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Assist in the evaluation of new investment opportunities by conducting thorough research and analysis of companies.
  2. Perform qualitative analysis and financial modeling duties to support investment decisions.
  3. Conduct credit analysis to assess the creditworthiness of potential investments.
  4. Support ongoing monitoring of existing portfolio positions to ensure optimal performance.
  5. Develop a deep understanding of interest rate movements, credit spreads, yield curve/duration risks, and currency risks.

Requirements

  1. Experience in financial services is essential, with a strong background in fixed income or credit analysis.
  2. Some experience in leveraged finance, high yield, and/or wider fixed income businesses is highly desirable.
  3. Knowledge of credit analysis and financial modeling is beneficial.
  4. Strong Excel and VBA skills are required.
  5. A genuine interest in research and financial markets is essential.
