We are seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to join our team at Harrison Scott Associates. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with existing and potential customers in the East of the country.
Key Responsibilities:- Act as a point of contact for existing and potential customers within the Lincolnshire/Cambridgeshire area
- Identify local business opportunities and challenges
- Report on regional sales results (weekly, monthly, quarterly and annually)
- Present products and services to prospective clients
- Identify customer needs and recommend product solutions
- Answer customer questions about products and services
- Cross-sell products, when appropriate
- Collaborate with sales representatives from different territories to share best practices and support a cohesive sales approach
This role requires someone with a robust knowledge of all packaging consumable products provided by our client as well as articulating and advising prospective clients on how best to utilise the product offering.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the fresh produce and food processing industries and be able to develop business opportunities in the East of the country. They will be a skilled communicator with excellent interpersonal skills and be able to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues alike.
