Job Description:Overview:The Senior Health and Safety Consultant will play a key role in driving safety performance and compliance across our business. This is a senior leadership position that requires expertise in health and safety management, strong communication skills, and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement effective health and safety strategies to mitigate risks and improve performance.
- Partner with leadership teams to embed a culture of safety and performance excellence.
- Provide expert advice and guidance on health and safety matters, including site-specific risk assessments and incident investigations.
- Lead the development and implementation of new standards, processes, and documentation to drive cultural maturity.
- Manage multiple workstreams and deliver results to time, quality, and cost.
- Relevant health and safety qualification/training (e.g., NEBOSH).
- Good knowledge of site health and safety risks, their management controls, and legal standards.
- Strong ability to communicate and act professionally.
- Proven record of bringing best practice into an organisation and using it to drive improvements.
- Experience in Client-side Construction or working within an asset infrastructure business.
