I. Company Information:

Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Compressor Corporation (MCO), a group company of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd (MHI), is one of the largest global manufacturers and service providers of compressors and steam turbines for Petrochemical and Oil & Gas industries.

MCO is located at its head office in Hiroshima, Japan, and has key manufacturing facilities in Japan (Hiroshima) and the USA (Houston).

MHI-EMEA is the European-based entity of MHI and has a business group in London office dedicated to marketing, sales, and after-sales services of MCO's products.

MCOSA (Al Khobar, in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia) is responsible for primary after-service support for customers in the EMEA region.

II. DETAILS / ACCOUNTABILITIES:

As a Service Engineer, you will contribute to MCO in its following three main activities:

To perform these tasks, MCO will provide necessary training programs to understand and familiarize you with the engineering practices of after-sales service operations for MCO machines.

  1. Providing engineering services to customers
  2. Communicating with MCO and MCO business partners
  3. Technical support to expand service business

III. Geographical Area in Charge:

EMEA Region

Mainly European countries

Africa (Egypt, Algeria, Nigeria) and Turkey

IV. Required Qualification:

  1. Minimum 3 years of experience as a design engineer of centrifugal compressors or steam turbines, or 2 years as an application engineer of centrifugal compressors and steam turbines in the Petrochemical and Oil & Gas industry, or 3 years as a field engineer of centrifugal compressors or steam turbines
  2. Mechanical Engineering or equivalent degree required
  3. Good communication skills with a superior customer focus
  4. Fluent in English and local languages
  5. Proficient experience and exposure to national and international engineering codes and standards, especially for American Petroleum Institute (API) standards
  6. Willingness for experiencing continuous improvement processes
  7. Relevant experience with Petrochemical and Oil & Gas clients, products, industry standards, and the following:
  8. General policy QCD management
  9. Quick response to clients
  10. Application of experienced technology
  11. Design enhancement of minor parts based on standard design application experience with very low risk in terms of integrity, robustness, and performance
  12. Design enhancement of major key parts based on experience with moderate risk control according to analysis results for strength and performance
  13. Ability to travel (both domestic and international)
