Solid State Phased Array Radar System Quality Assurance Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Manager to oversee the quality assurance program for our Solid State Phased Array Radar System (SSPARS) project. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all quality standards are met and that the program is executed in accordance with contractual requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement quality assurance procedures and protocols to ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure that all quality standards are met.
  • Identify and document nonconformities and initiate corrective actions as necessary.
  • Collaborate with the site manager and their team to ensure that all quality-related issues are addressed.
  • Provide monthly quality status reports to the Contractors Quality Program Manager.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in managing, administering, and supervising a quality assurance program.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all organizational levels.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Working Environment:

The successful candidate will be based in the UK and will be required to travel to the site location as necessary. The working environment will be primarily office-based, but may involve spending time in maintenance shops, warehouses, or outdoors for extended periods.
