About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior HVAC Engineer to join our team in Renfrew. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and optimizing HVAC systems for various projects across the Carbon Capture, Hydrogen, Pharmaceutical, Chemical, and Oil & Gas sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement HVAC system designs, including concept design, feasibility studies, and detailed engineering.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure integrated and optimal solutions.
  • Manage vendors to achieve project deliverables within budget and on schedule.
  • Prepare and review HVAC engineering design documentation, including technical specifications and datasheets.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and security requirements.
Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with a strong understanding of HVAC regulations, codes, industry standards, and engineering practices. A master's or bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a closely related field is required, along with a minimum of 8 years of professional experience in similar industries. Chartered accreditation with the IMechE is also desirable.
