Mobile Plant Engineer

Mobile Plant Engineer
Interaction Recruitment is partnering with a well-established national plant hire firm to support the growth of their team. Our client, who has been established for over 50 years, is looking to onboard & train engineers from either a plant, HGV, Automotive, or Agricultural background. They offer a comprehensive training scheme alongside relative internal progression routes.
The Package:- 22 days Annual Leave + Public Holidays / Increasing by 1 day for every year of service (25 overall)
- All overtime over 8 hours per day is paid at 1.5x (£21-£24 per hour)
- A minimum of 5 hours of overtime available per week (average availability is 15-20 hours)
- Salary Sacrifice Scheme for an additional 5 days annual leave per annum
- Laptop, Company Vehicle & Fuel Card
- Full training & development with a focus on internal progression
- Previous experience working in the Plant, Automotive, HGV or Agricultural industry (essential)
- Previous experience working with hydraulics, alongside mechanical and electrical capabilities (essential)
- Experience working on engines would be advantageous
- Electrical and/or Mechanical fault finding, repair & service experience
- A desire to lead, manage and grow a team of your own
- Relevant qualifications NVQ or City and Guilds in mechanical/electrical engineering (advantageous)
- Full UK Drivers License
- Travel to client sites to perform maintenance and repair of plant machinery and equipment.
- Diagnose complex technical issues and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance.
