Mental Health Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our dynamic team at Hampshire and Isle of Wight Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust.
This exciting opportunity has arisen within our CQC Outstanding rated Portsmouth Integrated Learning Disability Service (ILDS). The post-holder will work alongside senior management and clinical staff to deliver high-quality psychological care to people across the city.
The ILDS psychology service collaborates with the child and adolescent learning disability service (CAMHS-LD), providing timely intervention for young people and their families.
As a Clinical Psychologist, you will have the opportunity to develop your professional network, use leadership skills, and improve the care and support of individuals with learning disabilities in the city.

Key Responsibilities:
- To work as part of the multidisciplinary team in the delivery of psychological care to individuals with learning disabilities.
- To contribute to the development and implementation of the ILDS psychology service.
- To provide expert supervision and guidance to junior staff members.
- To maintain accurate records and reports in accordance with trust policies and procedures.
Person Specification:
- Possession of a doctoral qualification in clinical psychology or its equivalent, as accredited by the British Psychological Society (BPS).
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as a Practitioner Psychologist.
- Post-doctoral training in one or more specialized areas of psychological practice.
- Formal training in supervision or equivalent experience.
Salary: £40,919 - £60,983 per annum, depending on experience.
Location: Portsmouth Civic Offices, Guildhall Square, Portsmouth, Hampshire PO1 2GJ.
