SF Recruitment Ltd is partnering with a leading business in Leicester to find a highly skilled Financial Controller to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.

About the Role:

The Financial Controller will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and providing strategic financial guidance to the organisation. This role will involve managing a small team and reporting directly to the Managing Director.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department
  2. Monitor and analyse financial data and prepare financial reports
  3. Develop and implement financial policies and procedures
  4. Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
  5. Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities
  6. Manage cash flow, budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
  7. Liaise with auditors, tax authorities, and other stakeholders
Requirements:
  1. Qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA)
  2. Experience of a similar role within an SME Business
  3. Strong Financial Analysis & Reporting
