Job Description

The School Business Director is a highly influential role within Queen Elizabeth's High School, overseeing the strategic and operational leadership of all aspects and operational functions across the school. This includes finance, HR, ICT, health and safety, premises, data protection, and administrative and operational support.

Responsibilities
  • Led by the School Business Director, our teams drive the delivery of the overall vision and strategy of the school, ensuring efficient deployment of financial resources and optimal educational outcomes for students.
  • In a dynamic education sector, we require the ability to demonstrate value for money, apply Integrated Curriculum Financial Planning (ICFP), and identify opportunities for additional funding streams from charitable and government sources.
  • This role also encompasses Data Protection Officer responsibilities, including staff training, advice on compliance, and coordination with queries and subject access requests.
About the Role

This senior position comes with significant line management responsibilities, overseeing the HR Manager, Premises Manager, ICT Systems Manager, Finance Officer, Admissions & Office Manager, Learning Resource Centre Manager, and Communications, Marketing & Development Officer, as well as circa 60 support staff and circa 45 contractors.
