Lighting and Rigging Project Coordinator

Expert Employment is seeking a highly skilled Lighting and Rigging Project Coordinator to join our technical sales department in London. This field-based role requires regular trips to London and involves working with entertainment lighting, particularly intelligent lighting fixtures, controls, and networks.

The ideal candidate will have in-depth experience of the multiple systems required for a modern breathtaking performance venue, working with lighting designers, hire companies, and dealers. They will also have excellent organisational and time management skills, as well as the ability to coordinate external design projects for theatrical lighting, studio dramas, broadcast, music touring, and other live events.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Support the Regional Territory Manager in coordinating sales leads and communicating system layouts for theatrical and architectural lighting projects.
  2. Visit client sites, end users, and dealers to provide technical support and coordinate follow-up on sales leads.
  3. Participate in trade shows, sales training seminars, and other events to promote Expert Employment's products and services.
  4. Layout lighting control systems with specifications and risers, and communicate with customers, lighting designers, sales representatives, consultants, electrical contractors, distributors, etc.

This is a field position requiring in excess of 50% travel, and the ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Theatre Production or experience in a related discipline.

Requirements
  1. Theatre, Studio, Event or Music tour lighting experience.
  2. AutoCAD, AGI, or other photometric software skills.
  3. Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  4. Contractual and commercial processes knowledge.
