About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled HIL Systems and Plant Model Engineer to join our dynamic Engineering Team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our company.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology and innovative engineering practices, transforming the EV industry through sustainable solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and maintain accurate HIL Plant and Dynamic Models, representing vehicle components and systems.
  • Develop modular simulation models for HIL rigs, utilizing interface & plug-in concepts for seamless integration and continuous automation.
  • Plan, implement, and maintain upgrades to HIL hardware, software tool chains, and environments supporting manual and automated software testing.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and technology partners to deliver software-controlled vehicle functions, ensuring alignment with Electrical Architecture and technical roadmaps.
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation for HIL hardware, models, environments, and configurations.
  • Specify, develop, and execute scripted and manually driven test plans.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends in HIL testing techniques and methodologies, applying findings to optimize test efficiency and accuracy.
  • Drive the design and implementation of tools interoperability solutions for continuous and nightly test runs, automated issue reporting, and regression testing.
Requirements
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing HIL test systems for automotive applications, having participated in the delivery of at least one full program.
  • Proven experience of using Matlab Simulink toolchain for generating and maintaining vehicle plant models.
  • Proven Experience of using dSPACE / National Instruments hardware and toolchain for set up and functioning of a HIL Rig. Understanding of usage of National Instruments Toolchain (LabVIEW, VeriStand)
