Automation Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Automation Engineer to join our client's team in the UK. This role involves developing and commissioning advanced control systems for state-of-the-art machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

• A strong background in electrical engineering with at least 5 years of experience in programming special purpose machinery is required.
• The ideal candidate will have expertise in Siemens TIA Portal, Rockwell programming tools, and communication protocols like Profinet and Ethernet IP.
• Strong fault-finding skills and a proactive approach to machine safety and continuous improvement are essential.
• Flexibility and a willingness to travel for installations and support in the UK and internationally are necessary.
