About the Role
The London Borough of Redbridge is seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to fill the position of Deputy Head of Well-being. This role will play a crucial part in planning, delivering, and administering the well-being offer within the school.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with individuals and groups to develop and implement well-being initiatives
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and external partners to ensure a comprehensive approach to student well-being
- Develop and maintain relationships with local community organizations and services to enhance the well-being offer
- Contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to student well-being
- Provide guidance and support to students, staff, and parents on matters related to emotional health and well-being
Requirements
- Relevant training, experience, or qualifications in working with children and young people
- Experience in a role that involved safeguarding
- Ability to work effectively with diverse groups and individuals
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
