Business Development Manager

Certain Advantage is recruiting on behalf of an International Logistics client for a Business Development Manager to join their European division, focusing on winning new contract logistics business for the supply of food products.
Key Responsibilities:- Actively source new businesses to develop, with the objective of increasing revenue and improving profitability.
- Build new business relationships to expand the business nationwide.
- Network and participate in targeted events and conferences.
- Promote tailored solutions based on client needs, using features and benefits of the company's operating model.
- Create local business sales plans and expand the local presence for all logistics and service offerings.
- Establish local value propositions and work closely with the product organisation to increase sales and optimise P&L for the product.
- Ensure effective contract fulfilment.
- Business Development experience relevant to winning new business (hunter).
- Proven track record in sales and business development within a Logistics or Supply Chain environment.
- Ability to travel if required.
We work with businesses across the UK to find the best people in Finance, Marketing, IT, and Engineering.
