We are seeking an experienced Boatbuilder to join our team at Avon Boating Ltd, a leading provider of traditional wooden passenger vessels and rowing boats.

The successful candidate will be responsible for repairing and maintaining our extensive fleet, including carvel built passenger vessels, clinker rowing boats, and flat bottomed punts.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Repair and replacement of hull planking, floors, frames, and steam-bent timbers

• General fitting out, caulking, seaming, sanding, painting, and varnishing

• Renewing timber seats, gunnels, knees, and floorboards on fibreglass rowing boats

• Repairing minor hull damage

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in traditional boat construction, excellent technical skills, and the ability to work independently.
