Job Title: Research Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Research Associate to join our team at STEM Solutions Group. As a Research Associate, you will play a key role in conducting international primary and secondary research, analyzing data, and providing insightful reports to our clients.

Job Description

Company Overview: STEM Solutions Group is a leading data services provider that offers independent and reliable data and insights through published research, consulting, and bespoke data services. Our team delivers global research covering the cards and payments, retail technology, and banking automation sectors.

Role Overview: The Research Associate role involves conducting research, analyzing data, and providing reports to our clients. This role requires both quantitative and qualitative research skills and encompasses a variety of activities such as reports, consulting, and conference participation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct primary and secondary research, including surveys and executive interviews.
  • Analyze data and statistics, providing insightful and accurate reports.
  • Write detailed and clear reports for various audiences.
  • Participate in consulting projects, newsletters, and conferences.
  • Collaborate effectively within project teams while managing individual responsibilities.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • A strong academic background.
  • Ideally, some work experience (not necessarily in research).
  • Excellent communication, writing, and numerical skills.
  • Native-standard proficiency in written and spoken English.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Skill in building relationships with research contacts globally.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Fluency in another language is preferable, with a preference for Spanish or Italian.
