Job Title: Secondary PRU Teaching Assistant

About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team at a Primary PRU in Walsall. The ideal candidate will have a passion for supporting children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and be able to engage and motivate them while setting clear boundaries.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage challenging behaviour and emotions
Work collaboratively with other Teaching Assistants, management, parents and outside agencies
Provide support to students with SEMH needs and associated needs such as Autism, ADHD and SpLD

Requirements:
Enhanced DBS certificate on the Update Service (or be happy to pay for a new one)
Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable)
Provide a CV with full education and work history
Have the legal right to work in the UK
Some experience supporting children with challenging behaviours
