**Job Title:** Personal Advisor

**About the Role:**
We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in a specific area to assist with the appointment of a Personal Advisor, on a contract lasting approximately three months, with the possibility of extension at the client's discretion. Your application should include your CV for immediate consideration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Building strong, respectful relationships with young people.
  • Developing Pathway Plans in collaboration with young people, keeping accurate records.
  • Visiting young people at home and in the community to promote the best possible outcomes.
  • Attending relevant meetings.
  • You will work with young people aged 17-24, prioritizing their needs and preferences, and collaborate with a knowledgeable and skilled team.
  • As a Personal Advisor, you will be the allocated worker and key contact for your young people, providing practical, personal, and emotional support to facilitate successful transitions to adulthood and promote independence, demonstrating what it means to be a good corporate parent.

Requirements:

  • You should have successfully achieved NVQ Level 3 Children and Young People or Equivalent, or be willing to work towards achieving this within 12 months of registration.
  • Significant experience of working with Young People, either as part of a team or with Partner Agencies.
  • Experience in improving outcomes for Young People by delivering support to them.

Important Notes:

  • You should be available to start immediately or at short notice.
  • You must have the right to work in the U.K.
  • This role requires an enhanced DBS.
