Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our team at the Royal Surrey NHS Foundation Trust. As a Phlebotomist, you will play a vital role in providing a high-quality blood collection service to patients within the hospital and community.

Main Duties

  • To perform venepuncture under supervision, with the ability to work alone when required.
  • To follow departmental policies and protocols, maintaining the highest professional standards.

Requirements

  • GCSEs in English and Mathematics at grade C/Level 5 and above.
  • Working knowledge of software packages, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience as a phlebotomist or practical training in venepuncture.
  • Experience in a clinical or patient-facing role within the NHS or acute multi-disciplinary healthcare environment.
  • Basic knowledge of medical terminology.
