About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and compassionate doctor to develop their skills in paediatric oncology or haematology. The successful candidate will work closely with our experienced team to deliver excellent patient care and contribute to the growth and development of our department.



Key Responsibilities


  • Prescribe chemotherapy using Chemocare in collaboration with our paediatric oncology pharmacists.
  • Contribute to the non-malignant haematology service by joining one clinic a week in haemoglobinopathies.
  • Attend consultant-led clinics, reviewing patients on treatment and follow-up, assessing patients for chemotherapy, and arranging investigations as necessary.

To be successful in this role, you will need:




  • Strong clinical skills and experience in paediatric oncology or haematology.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development and training.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently.


What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of £65,000 - £85,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including contributory pension scheme, generous annual leave entitlement, and opportunities for career progression and professional development.
