About the Role

Pertemps Sheffield is currently recruiting for Christmas Season Mail Sorters to join the team of one of their long-standing clients, Royal Mail, as part of their Santa Mail Campaign.

The job purpose is to process mail during the festive period, working to an agreed service standard to help spread some joy, while ensuring all legislative standards are met.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Opening and sorting mail using letter opening machines
  • Accessing content and accurately entering names and addresses into the data system using excel
  • General administrative duties
  • Handling mail distribution
About You

We are looking for individuals with good IT skills, capable of inputting with speed and accuracy. Competency in using Microsoft apps, especially excel, is also essential.

A professional attitude and commitment to work are key. The ability to work well in a team and lift up to 10kg and push up to 250kg is required.

You will be required to work between 30-35 hours per week, between Monday and Friday. Full flexibility is needed for any shifts between the times of 10:45am and 5:45pm.

Compensation

The rate of pay for the role will be £12 per hour (Mon - Sat) and £14 on Sunday. At present no weekend work is required, however this may change.

The duration of the contract will be approximately 4-6 weeks. If you are able to commit to the duration of the project, please apply online or give us a call to discuss further.
