Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our production team on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract during a significant transformation project.

This critical role will involve working on dynamic challenges and varied projects, with a tangible impact on the efficiency of Rotork's production.

Reporting to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the continuous improvement of engineering tasks and processes during a period of developments and efficiency gains within the Leeds factory.

The ideal candidate will have experience using ERP systems, awareness of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement techniques, and a mechanical bias.

Key responsibilities will include designing, implementing, and documenting shop floor processes, considering best engineering practice throughout.

We are looking for a candidate who is approachable, able to communicate effectively, and happy to work as part of a team as well as unsupervised.

Organisation and attention to detail are essential, as is a commitment to engineering excellence.
