Job Details
Devonshire Primary Academy is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support pupils in Key Stages 1 and 2. The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher to implement daily routines, provide social, emotional, and intellectual care for young children, and assist in implementing activities under the direction of the class teacher.

About the Role
This temporary contract runs from January 2025 until August 2025 and involves supporting pupils across both Key Stages but mainly in Key Stage 2. The role requires flexibility and responsiveness to the needs of the wider team as instructed by the Line Manager.

Required Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have relevant school experience, an understanding of children's educational development throughout the relevant age range, and be able to demonstrate high personal and professional standards. They must also have excellent oral and written communication skills, be enthusiastic and hardworking, and have a warm and friendly personality.
