About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Sales Order Coordinator to join our Front Office and Digital Services Division in Cheadle, UK. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the timely and accurate processing of customer orders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process customer enquiries and manage effective proactive and reactive communications with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Liaise with internal teams to resolve customer enquiries of varying levels of complexity.
  • Ensure reporting systems and tools are up-to-date and status movements are accurate.
  • Maintain high levels of awareness and control on all aspects of customer new build, spare, and repair programs.
  • Develop relationships with internal and external customers to ensure high levels of service.
  • Accurate data capture for all release, shipping, and despatch documents.
  • Release of repairs, spares, and manufactured items via the appropriate business system.
Requirements
  • Experience of managing customers in a diverse international market.
  • Oracle experience (or equivalent ERP system).
  • Ideal experience of manufacturing and MRP processes in a technology industry.
  • Understanding of shipping/export and logistics desirable but not essential.
  • Understanding of purchasing/supply chain/outsourced repairs.
  • Experience of spares or repairs in an aerospace or technology environment.
  • Commercial experience/awareness.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Good numeracy skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage own time effectively.
  • Shows initiative.
  • Ability to plan logically and pro-actively manage the role.
