TLP is seeking an experienced HGV Mechanic to join our team at a well-established service and maintenance workshop facility in Glasgow.

The role involves conducting thorough vehicle inspections, completing required works, ensuring timely completion of pre-planned maintenance, performing MOT inspections and preparations, and maintaining recording monitoring systems to comply with legal and company requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to identify necessary works
  • Complete required works identified during initial inspection
  • Ensure timely completion of pre-planned maintenance
  • Perform MOT inspections and preparations
  • Maintain recording monitoring systems to comply with legal and company requirements
  • Promote safe working practices and ensure site Health & Safety standards meet Company Policy
Requirements:
  • Completed HGV Technician apprenticeship
  • Full UK driving license
  • Class 1 license beneficial but not essential

This role offers a competitive pay rate of £19.22 per hour for basic shifts and overtime rates apply on Mondays-Saturdays (£28.83/hour) and Sundays/Bank Holidays (£38.44/hour). The estimated salary for this position is over £60,000 per year, including overtime and annual bonus.
